# Terms of Service **Template — not legal advice. Review and adapt with qualified counsel before relying on this document.** Last updated: 2026-07-09 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Trishul, an LLM guardrail middleware and API proxy service ("Trishul", the "Service"), operated by GetDeaddicted LLC ("we", "us", "our"). The Service is available at https://trishul.aiskillhub.info. By creating an account, deploying the self-hosted software, or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "Customer") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ## 1. Acceptance By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and, where you use the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. ## 2. Description of the Service Trishul sits between your application and your large language model (LLM) provider to enforce security and safety guardrails, including: - Prompt-injection detection and defense - PII detection and masking - Tool-call policy enforcement with optional human-in-the-loop approval - Egress verification of model responses Trishul may be consumed as a hosted API or deployed by you in your own environment (self-host / VPC). In hosted gateway mode, Trishul processes traffic transiently and does not hold your third-party model provider keys; you retain responsibility for your own provider relationships and keys. The Service is a middleware layer. It reduces risk but does not guarantee that every malicious prompt, sensitive data element, or unsafe response will be detected or blocked. You remain responsible for the design, safety, and legality of your own application. ## 3. Fair Use The Service is currently provided free of charge, and may also be deployed by you in your own environment (self-host / VPC). There are no paid plans at this time. "Fair use" means you may not use automated means to inflate usage, overload the Service, or resell it without a written agreement. Availability, usage limits, and features may change as described in Section 11. ## 4. Acceptable Use Policy You agree not to use the Service, and not to permit anyone using your credentials to: - Attack, probe, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Trishul, other customers, or any third-party system; - Use Trishul to launch, relay, or disguise prompt-injection, jailbreak, or exfiltration attacks against other systems; - Process, generate, or transmit content that is illegal, that infringes third-party rights, or that we are legally required to block; - Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract detection logic, rulesets, or model internals except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law or expressly permitted by an open-source license accompanying the self-hosted software; - Interfere with or circumvent security, rate-limiting, or metering features; - Use the Service to build a directly competing guardrail product by copying its non-open components. We may investigate suspected violations and suspend access to protect the Service or other customers. ## 5. API Keys and Security You are responsible for safeguarding your Trishul API keys and account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under them. Do not embed keys in client-side code or public repositories. Notify us promptly at getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com if you suspect a key has been compromised, so we can rotate it. Trishul is designed not to store or echo back raw secrets it processes; nevertheless you remain responsible for the secrets your application sends. ## 6. Availability and No Warranty We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The **Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty or uptime commitment**, and may be modified, throttled, or discontinued at any time. Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ## 7. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 8,000. Because Trishul is a risk-reduction layer and not a guarantee, we are not liable for prompts, data, or responses that pass through or are blocked by the Service. ## 8. Intellectual Property We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, rulesets, documentation, and trademarks, except for components made available under a separate open-source license, which are governed by that license. You retain all rights to the data and content you send through the Service. You grant us a limited right to process that content solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction. ## 9. Termination You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. On termination, your right to use the hosted Service ends and we will delete or return account data as described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Addendum. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7, 8, 10, and this sentence) survive termination. ## 10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction, the courts located in the operator's jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. ## 11. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for account holders, provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. ## 12.
